Donny Sherman
Donny was born in Riverside, California and grew up in Corona, California. He was baptized into Christ in June of 1972 at age 12 while attending the Church of Christ in Corona. Donny continued working as an electrician in many places throughout Southern California, concentrating on building and remodeling hospitals and schools. He also took part in building homes in Baja California with brethren from the Yorba Linda Church of Christ. Donny retired in 2017.
Donny and LuAnne were previously members of the Yorba Linda Church of Christ before coming together with the SoCal Church of Christ. Donny served as a deacon for many years prior to becoming an elder 3 years ago. He currently serves as an elder with the SoCal Church of Christ and is overseeing the planning and remodeling of our new building.
His hobbies include building and flying model airplanes, architectural drawing, woodworking. His greatest joy is spending time with family and brethren.
